Yesterday afternoon, we went to Zhu Jia Jiao with those Taiwan people. I have been in shanghai for more than 5 years, but never been to this famous village before. It was sunny and a little bit hot for tourists. Nearly everybody had a sun umbrella, (especially women and girls) except me. Although the weather was not as good as the day before yesterday, people were very excited to look at those perfect sceneries.

Maybe it was a weekday, maybe the weather was hot, and the village was quiet and peaceful, let us felt that it was waiting and preparing for us only. A river divided the small village into several parts, and wider than the other water villages’. It was wonderful when overlooking on the famous bridge, FangShen Qiao.

Another part interested me a lot was the best private garden in Zhu Jia Jiao, Ma’s garden. We followed the travel guide to visit the garden, and it was really a great garden, better than I can imagine. As it was very big, we spent nearly half an hour in it. Then we traveled by boat, I thought it was cool because I was from a north metropolis which didn’t have rivers like this. When we visited a temple after boating, I noticed that several Taiwan people were praying and mumbling, very sincerely. I was moved by what they had done, but I can not follow them: not because I am a communist, but because I didn’t know how to do it.

Before we leave, we traveled along the charming alley which called the north street. Two classmates and I finally decided to by a cute fan, for fun or for gift. My MM asked me to buy something for her, and I forgot she want some food there, and only bought a fan for her. Everybody can imagine what had happened to me when I hand out a little fan and said “here is your gift”.

When we came back to Fudan in the early evening, we decided to eat kabob for supper. And followed the ordinary way, we drunk a lot of beers too. Before another four Taiwan people came at 21:00, we six people (four Fudan students and two Taiwan men) ate more than two hundreds sticks and drunk sixteen bottles of beer. I still felt uncomfortable in the morning today.

Today is the ceremony day for their course completeness. After the ceremony, they have a two-day trip to Nan Jing and Su Zhou. It will be the duty of my roommate as their accompanier, not me. I have finished my job today, and can have a deep breathe and relax myself for a while. What a wonderful day today!
